Part 2. SEPT-DEC 2015 topics. Describe a person who likes to travel by plane.

If you see this topic on your cue card then I would advise you to follow the following structure instead of the prompts/questions suggested on the cue card. Simply because it's much easier for you to expand your ideas this way.

1. Who?
2. Advantages
3. Disadvantages

Selection: pick anyone, let's say that if you pick your dad and say that he's a business man.

A: Who?

Let's kick off with the first aspect and I'd like to talk about my dad, who works for a multinational company and he usually has to travel overseas for meetings and business events on a regular basis. Characteristic wise, he’s definitely an adventurous type of person, who loves to travel and explore the world, he’s also really open and adaptable to many different cultures and customs.

B: Why? List some of the key advantages of air travel.

Moving forward to the way how he travels, my dad always chooses to fly in business class so he'll always get those special treatments, such as a flat bed, where he can just stretch his legs and sleep comfortably until he reaches the destination, this is probably the main reason why he rarely feels exhausted, but he still experiences jet lag every now and then, especially when it comes to a long flight.

C: Discuss some of the drawbacks.

To wrap it up, although he’s a frequent traveller but he still regularly complains about the hassles of going through security checks and customs on international flights– I mean…who doesn’t?. On top of that, he also said that one of the main concerns of traveling on air these days is probably terrorism, something that is always at the back of his mind these days.
