Selection: Drive a car
A: To take up a new skill, driving, practical skill. 
B: Study abroad, convenient, comfortable, the freedom of being able to travel independently, avoid the hassles of catching public transport (bus, train) with fixed route. You can also discuss a couple of the drawbacks of owning a car e.g. the rising cost of fuel and maintenance. 
C: With a driving instructor, basic (reversing, checking the mirrors, changing gears), complex (parking, driving on highways), it would take about 6 months to complete the course and years to master the skill. However, practice makes perfect.
